THANKFUL

As we are enjoying this Thanksgiving season, no doubt we will hear countless expressions of gratitude for one thing or another.  I would like to add two groups of people to that list…our friends in law enforcement and those who serve as firefighters.  Many of them put their lives on the line daily so you and I might remain safe.  Often, they do this for little or no wages and seemingly little appreciation.  With all the negative hype that permeates the media concerning these public servants, I would like to remind one and all that there can be "bad apples" in any profession, but we are blessed in this area to have some of the nation's finest serving our communities.  These are people of integrity, commitment and dedication.  Hats off to all of you who wear the badge.  Thanks for all you do and may your Thanksgiving celebration be extra special this year.
